I can’t hold it in any more. As my friend, Natalie says, guilt always brings the truth out. For years, I have known I felt this way and the world cannot continue to ignore my idol. If I had just listened to everything that she taught me, I would probably already have Mr. Right rubbing my feet as I type this article.
In the words of “The Diva” – Miss Piggy, “Being a diva is all about helping yourself by being selfish” and that sexy sow is right. Frequently, once we seek another person’s desire, we start to give into everything they want. So much so that we forget who we are and try to be who we think other’s want us to be. However, Miss Piggy has shown us that there are no mountains, species, or social stigmas strong enough to keep her from keeping her Kermie. We need to learn from her wisdom.
1. Fat is beautiful.
Whatever you look like, you need to love the body you have right now. Don’t live your life waiting for the body that will get you more attention – unless you want to live with the fear that the only reason that the person likes you is because you don’t like yourself. (That sounds awesome!)
2. When dressing, dress impeccably, always.
In the words of my friend JJ, “She always turns it out.” Where there is a will there is a store and a catalogue. Get those clothes fitted and feel sexy in what you put on your body.
3. Who is the best?
Is that a question? Why are you doubting yourself? Other people can doubt you, but that doesn’t matter. Think like Miss Piggy. People need to get a chance to know why they are wrong. As she says, “I am not a diva; I am The Diva”, and I believe her.
4. Don’t think. Just go for it.
Viva la Piggy!
