It's that time of year again. On Sunday, January 8, 2012, people around the world are invited to put on a rockin' pair of undies and roam the streets. (You can read more about it online at http://improveverywhere.com/)
Here are some dos and don'ts for those of you looking for love at this year's event:
Men, please don't be creepy. This is not an invitation to stare, gawk or goggle. Treat those bare bottoms the way you would normally treat cleavage, and appreciate discreetly.
Ladies, please do wear underpants. Wearing tights without anything underneath, as I saw one bold woman do last year, kind of defeats the purpose of “no pants.” You might also want to leave thongs and g-strings off the table – or is that old-fashioned?
Do strike up conversations. That guy or gal in the cute boxer briefs is probably awesome. Most people come to it looking to talk to people and have fun, so be your charming self and let your inhibitions go. (If you need a pick-up line, try “Where are your pants?”)
But please don't use the obvious. Commenting on people's bodies is bound to sound extra sketchy when they're not wearing pants. Besides, you can do better – get creative!
