Does it REALLY matter? I’m not talking about THAT ladies so get your mind out of the gutter and fellas stop being so self-conscious. I’m actually referring to astrological signs. When dating or finding that perfect match does the zodiac sign of the person matter? In a word.

YES! HELL YES!

Everyone has a match, a sign they are more compatible with than another. Don’t believe me? Survey your friends and I guarantee their signs will be of those mostly compatible with you. There is a reason, each sign has been given certain characteristics (i.e. Virgo is a earth sign) because in an ideal situation they are not suppose to mix. EVER. Only a few instances in history has mixing ever given us great results, for example root beer floats (delicious), Jaeger bombs (delicious) and Halle Berry (delicious). Let me supply you with more insight.

Take me, I’m a Virgo so I am mostly compatible with other Virgos, other earth signs and some water signs. THAT’S IT. So when I chose to date a Leo, a fire sign, (fire scorches the earth) I should have known it wasn’t going to turn into a serious relationship. In this case, I found out with her and the previous Leo I dated that we are just at different ends of the spectrum on a lot of things that matter in a relationship and life in general. I liken both experiences to mixing light and dark liquors, its good idea initially but eventually you wake up in the middle of your own puke swearing that you will never do it again.

Don’t get me wrong this isn’t a concrete concept there are exceptions to the rule. I mean in school we learned that oil and water don’t mix, tell that to BP though. Now what I recommend is for all parties to do their research. Find out what you and your potential match’s zodiac signs mean. How do these signs behave together? Google it. Get as much information and then go forward. You may find out that you have to make some concessions but you could end up with the love of your life. What do you got to lose? The alternative is ending up like me and vowing never to date another Leo again, but than again what’s the fun in that.

I'm not going to view the webste but you are definitely entitled to your opinion. I think you took the article more serious than I intended but these things are suppose to envoke a reaction. The whole earth and fire sign thing was a reach that I thought was humorous. I never said I couldn't be friends with a Leo, you would actually be surprised by the amount of Leo women I know. Although I'm extremely facsinated by the amount of friends I have who are of signs "compatible" with me and I think there is something to it. I don't disclude dating anyone because of their sign, that would be idiotic and prejudice on my behalf which I'm neither. The signs give more of a snapshot of who a person is, a basis of who they are at the core. Personal experiences can be shared, relatable or similuar to any sign. Its the basis where we differ and that's where it matters most in my opinion. You don't have to agree and you don't but I appreciate you reading my article.

This article is very inaccurate and misleading. Taking a few examples from your life isn't concrete evidence that an earth sign can't be friends with or date a fire sign or vice versa.. Sun signs play a very small role in relationship compatibility anybody who has done the tiniest bit of research on astrology can tell you this. The moon and venus have a much bigger impact on relationships and even then you still need to take one's whole chart into account not to mention their upbringing. The fact of the matter is because YOU believe this is true it has become true in your OWN life since you put so much stock into it. Think about if you go into a relationship and assume it wont last chances are it wont regardless of zodiac sign. Check out a website like cafeastrology.com to get a better understanding of astrology. I know you mention at the end of your article this isn't a concrete concept but the information you gave should not be taken at face value.
