Why do we wear condoms?
Do we don them because we don't desire to ever have to make the announcement a la Magic 20 years ago? (The guy by the way could probably still crush a majority of the NBA's current ball handlers.)
Do we roll 'em on in the heat of the moment because just the thought of having one of those creatures that often interrupts my snooze on the shuttle to Boston terrifies the heck out of me?
Do we allocate a weekly allowance to rubbers because we suddenly became Jonathan Franzen fanatics and are concerned with the longevity of the planet and our natural resources?
Do we drop by the bodega for a 3 pack on our way to pick her up because our 6th grade health Ed instructor and our mom told us to always be prepared?
The answer quite simply is: he'll no!
We buy and then wear that damn rubber thing because 90% of the time the girl is saying NO if we don't have one.
